Job Description

Our Client, a leading Law Firm, is currently looking to complement their Shipping team and is seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant. 

Responsibilities;

  • Providing support to the members of the Shipping department  
  • Liaising with Transport Malta and the Malta Business Registry 
  • Ordering of certificates and STCW Endorsements
  • Carrying out vessel searches
  • Preparing couriers
  • Filing and archiving  
  • Invoicing
  • Handling inquiries by telephone and e-mail
  • Running errands on behalf of the business 
  • Another day to day administrative duties

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience for at least one year within an administrative function 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English 
  • Have excellent IT proficiency, particularly in MS Word and Excel
  • Be able to work well in a team, as well as individually, without supervision
  • Proactive and taking initiative while working under pressure and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Organized, self-motivated, and possess excellent communication skills.
